This website was nothing more than a proof of concept for a larger idea. It has been wildlly popular so I'm in the process of rebuilding it into something more robust, maintainable, and scalable.
Annual children's costume parade on Main Street Jackson, hosted by the Jackson Lions Club since 1965. Kids pre-school through 8th grade, with costume prizes by age group.
The Jackson Lions Club has hosted the Children’s Halloween Parade every year since 1965. Children from pre-school through 8th grade are invited to dress up in costume and march down Main Street Jackson.
After gathering at the Jackson Fire Station for costume judging, the parade heads south down Main Street to the Civic Center. Free hot dogs and treat bags are provided for all participants.
Costume prizes are awarded by age group, plus a special award for Best Family/Group Theme.
