This website was nothing more than a proof of concept for a larger idea. It has been wildlly popular so I'm in the process of rebuilding it into something more robust, maintainable, and scalable.
The Jackson Lions Club’s annual July 3rd celebration features a family picnic with games, food vendors, a raffle, and a spectacular fireworks show at Aimee Baseball Field in Detert Park. The snack bar and food vendors open at 5 pm, family games on the field begin at 7:45 pm, and fireworks start at dark (around 9:30 pm). Admission is free — bring chairs or blankets for seating.
Free parking and shuttle service is available from Argonaut High School (Argonaut Lane lot) via Amador Transit, running 4:10–11:00 pm.
No illegal fireworks, pop-up tents in the parking lots, or unauthorized vendors are permitted. All proceeds support Jackson Lions scholarship funds and local community projects.
