Annual fall dinner event at historic Knight Foundry in Sutter Creek, featuring a multi-course meal served outdoors on Eureka Street with live music and a silent auction.
Feast at the Foundry is an annual fall dinner held at the historic Knight Foundry complex in downtown Sutter Creek. The evening begins with appetizers and a no-host beer and wine saloon, time to stroll through the foundry, and a silent auction. A multi-course barbecue meal with salad and dessert is then served family style on tables stretched along Eureka Street outside the foundry buildings, accompanied by live music. Vegetarian options are available.
Knight Foundry, established in 1873 by Samuel Knight, is America’s last water-powered foundry and machine shop and a premier relic of Mother Lode gold mining history. The event is staffed almost entirely by volunteers, and all proceeds support the ongoing work to transform the historic foundry into a world-class interactive industrial museum.
