The Mother Lode Land Trust hosts an annual Harvest Festival at C&C Ranch on Jackson Gate Road in Jackson. The family-friendly celebration features live music, a makers market with local artisans, pumpkins, food vendors, face painting, balloon animals, games, and candy.

The Mother Lode Land Trust was established in 1990 by a coalition of ranchers, conservationists, and concerned citizens to help protect foothill lands from the pressures of urbanization and development. The trust serves Amador, Alpine, Calaveras, Tuolumne, and El Dorado Counties, working to protect the agricultural and natural landscapes and historic character of the Mother Lode and Central Sierra region.
