Purple Tie Gala

The Purple Tie Gala is Operation Care’s premier annual fundraiser, featuring local “celebrity waiters” from Amador County who serve guests and compete for tips throughout the evening. The waiter who earns the most tips is crowned “Celebrity Waiter of the Year.” All tips and proceeds support Operation Care’s services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in Amador County.

The evening includes hors d’oeuvres, dinner, a no-host bar, live and silent auctions, and a raffle. Operation Care is a nonprofit founded in 1980 that provides free, confidential support services to victims and their families in Amador County.
