The Haunt at Preston Castle opens the doors of one of California’s most haunted places each Halloween season. Visitors walk through the historic former reform school building, encountering ghosts, creeping shadows, and bone-chilling scares throughout the Romanesque Revival halls. The event typically runs on select weekends in October, with gates opening at 6:45 PM and walk-throughs starting at 7:00 PM.
General Admission tickets are available for two time windows (7:00-8:30 PM and 8:30-10:00 PM), while VIP FastPass tickets allow entry anytime from 7:00-10:00 PM. Food vendors and merchandise are available on-site, and parking is free. The experience may be too intense for younger children.
