Vines and Steins is an annual summer tasting event at Preston Castle in Ione. Guests enjoy local wine, craft beer, and cider tastings in commemorative glasses while exploring the historic castle on a self-guided tour. The event also features a Photo Art Exhibit showcasing work from dozens of local artists, with pieces available for purchase and at least 50% of sales benefiting the Preston Castle Foundation.
The three-hour event includes complimentary cheese, crackers, and fruit, with food trucks available for additional purchases. Live music is performed on the patio. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older with a valid ID. Tickets are limited and sell out quickly, so advance online purchase is recommended.
