The Sutter Creek Parade of Lights is an annual December event that transforms Historic Main Street into a dazzling holiday spectacle. The parade begins at 6:00 PM and features illuminated floats, classic cars, mail trucks, school buses, horses, dogs, marching bands, baton twirlers, and more — all decorated with twinkling lights for a festive evening procession.
Vendor Alley offers arts, crafts, and food vendors around the Plaza and inside the Auditorium, opening in the early afternoon and continuing after the parade. Free shuttle service runs from the Italian Picnic Grounds before and after the event. The parade is held rain or shine, though dangerous winds or lightning may force cancellation.
