Cavana's Pub & Grub

Cavana’s Pub & Grub is a hometown pub on Main Street in Sutter Creek, opened by Terri and Joe Cavana in 2016 inside a spacious 5,000-square-foot building. The kitchen works with fresh, never-frozen ingredients to turn out hearty comfort food with real pub character.

The Pub Burger — an eight-ounce fresh-ground chuck patty with white cheddar, bacon, garlic aioli, and house pickles on a toasted milk bun — is a stop on the Amador Burger Route. Other favorites include the Reuben Fritters (smoked corned beef with sauerkraut, cream cheese, and Swiss, deep-fried), the Trio Platter with hot links, bratwurst, and goat cheese balls, and house-smoked meats like tri tip and meatloaf. The second and fourth Fridays bring a fish fry featuring fresh Sacramento fish.

Behind the 22-seat bar you’ll find craft beer from local breweries like Amador Brewing, Shenandoah Valley wines on pour, and a full cocktail lineup. Live music on weekends adds to the friendly, laid-back atmosphere — check their Facebook page for the current entertainment schedule.
