Mel & Faye’s Diner has been feeding Jackson since 1956 and remains an Amador County icon — locals know the phrase “I’ll meet you at Mel’s!” The family-owned spot is famous for the Moo Burger, a full salad bar, fresh-baked pies, and milkshakes as thick as they’ve always been.
The Creekside Banquet Room is a first-floor private event space accommodating up to 150 guests. Amenities include a private creekside outdoor patio, wireless microphones, an 8-speaker sound system, a TV podium, a full bar with bartender, a dedicated kitchen and restrooms, elevator access, and wait staff available on request.
Mel’s is the regular home of the Cruising Jackson car cruise, held on 1st and 3rd Fridays.
