The Sutter Restaurant is the dining heart of historic Hotel Sutter on Main Street, offering creative shareable bites, inspired soups and salads, and classic entrees. Highlights include beef short ribs, grilled salmon, and prime rib — available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights only. Vegan and gluten-free options are available throughout the menu.
On Saturdays and Sundays, Brunch & Beyond runs from 9 AM to 4 PM with breakfast service until 1 PM and infinite mimosas to go with it.
The main-floor Lobby Bar features wall-to-wall windows, local Gold Country wines, craft beer, and handcrafted cocktails. Accordion front doors open to the street on warm evenings. Upstairs, a second-floor balcony offers dining with views overlooking historic Main Street.
Downstairs, The Copper Room is a subterranean speakeasy-style bar with Prohibition-era ambiance, a historic long bar, cozy booths, and communal tables. It features curated rare whiskey selections from around the world with flights available, an extensive Shenandoah Valley wine list, and craft beers on tap. Private whiskey tastings can be arranged by appointment, and the space holds up to 100 for private events.
