The Blowbacks are a 9-to-11-piece horn-driven dance band with a huge repertoire spanning the 1940s to the 2000s — Motown, classic rock, big band, neo swing, jazz, funk, and country swing. Originally formed in Jackson by saxophonist Barry Duncan, the group evolved from earlier projects Mr. Pinstripe and Blow Daddy. Members hail from across Amador and Calaveras counties.
