Opened in 2015 by winemaker Paul Schmitz, 24 Brix is a family-owned winery on Highway 49 in Plymouth’s Shenandoah Valley. The name refers to the optimal sugar level for harvest, and all wines are fermented with native vineyard yeast in an old-world Italian style. Known for their Double Gold 98-point Petite Sirah and award-winning Zinfandel, the intimate barrel cellar tasting room offers a relaxed, personal experience. The lineup includes Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Moscato, and red blends.
