Domenico Winery is a Cal-Italia winery in Amador County’s Sierra Foothills, founded in 2004 by Dominick and Gloria Chirichillo. In spring 2024 they opened a 6,500 sq ft tasting room and event venue on their 420-acre property outside Ione.
The winery specializes in Cal-Italian varietals — Primitivo, Aglianico, Montepulciano, Barbera, Sangiovese, and Nebbiolo — alongside California classics, with over 500 medals to their name.
Domenico hosts live music, seasonal celebrations, wine tastings, and private events with capacity for up to 450 guests. The venue is 21+ only and does not allow pets.
