Jeff Runquist Wines

Jeff Runquist launched his winemaking career in 1977 and established his own label in 1997 with ten tons of Zinfandel. He returned to Amador County in 2006, purchasing property on Shenandoah Road and opening his tasting room in spring 2008. The winery produces over twenty varietals from nine appellations as small-lot, limited-production wines, with Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Barbera, and Petit Verdot as flagship offerings. The tasting room offers a welcoming, unpretentious atmosphere focused on approachable wines with fresh fruit character.
