Tanis Vineyards is one of Amador County’s smallest wineries, with winemaker-owner Andrew Tanis producing just 800 cases per year from select Amador grower vineyards since the 2005 vintage. Known for bold, concentrated reds including Zinfandel, Primitivo, Tempranillo, Barbera, and Petite Sirah, the winery also crafts crisp, refreshing whites. The intimate tasting room on Willow Creek Road near Ione offers complimentary tastings and chocolate pairings in a personal, unhurried setting.
