Fifty Years on Main Street

The Biggest Little Kitchen Store began in 1975 when an old Shell gas station from 1929 on Jackson’s Main Street was converted into a kitchen supply shop. What started as a modest retail space has grown into one of the most beloved specialty stores in the Mother Lode, now run by third-generation brothers Jess and Travis Williams. In 2010 the shop relocated to a larger space at 165 Main Street to accommodate its ever-expanding inventory, and in June 2025 it celebrated its 50th anniversary — a half-century of putting the right tool in the right cook’s hand.

The Collection

Walk through the door and you will find over a thousand gadgets, pots, pans, bakeware sets, cutlery, specialty food items, and kitchen curiosities packed into every corner. The staff is genuinely knowledgeable and happy to talk you through the difference between a carbon steel skillet and a cast iron one, or recommend the right mandoline for your comfort level. The knife sharpening service is a local institution — people drive in from across the county with dull blades and leave with edges that could split a tomato skin on contact. Open seven days a week from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
