The staff spends time in the backcountry surrounding Amador County and can point you toward the right trail, the right gear, and the right season for whatever you’re planning. Need a topo map for a weekend trip? Looking for fly fishing conditions on a nearby river? This is the stop to make before you leave town. It functions as part gear shop, part informal visitors’ bureau for anyone looking to get outside.
